Fresh Ingredients, Tasty Bread

Our bread is made fresh and delivered from the award winning bakery Barbakan which is based in Chorlton, Lancashire.

Each loaf is individually handcrafted and baked on the sole of the oven – no tins!  This not only improves the appearance and texture of the bread, but also ensures its full flavour.  Barbakan use the highest grade of flour and only the finest ingredients are used.  You won’t find any preservatives in this bread!  No animal fats are used so all of the bread is suitable for vegetarians

Ciabatta

A slightly sour, white, open textured Italian bread from the province of Tuscany.  Made with virgin olive oil for that real Italian taste and texture.

Rye

A traditional Polish medium rye bread mixed with wheat flour and caraway seeds.

Greek Bread

A traditional crusty loaf with a dense, slightly sour texture made using 100% unbleached flour with no artificial additives or preservatives.

Polish style bagels made with 100% unbleached flour. They are boiled before baking to seal in the taste and ensure crispiness.

Soda Bread

Made from a traditional Irish recipe using fresh buttermilk and 100% unbleached flour.

An authentic Viking recipe originating from the Northern lands of Europe. A truly dark, full bodied malted rye bread with sunflower seeds
